Career News:  Pepe has played in the 2010 World Cup and two European Championships. Pepe also has the longest unbeaten run in a Real Madrid shirt, not Cristiano Ronaldo. 

Interesting Personal Facts:  Despite being born in Brazil, he became a naturalized citizen of Portugal in August 2007 and was named to the Portuguese squad that same year.  Pepe had never played for the Brazilian national team during his youth.
